Pretty much done. Just have to make the brake and do some minor tweeking. I made the downhaul and boom so I can use any of my uncut sails. I have a range from 3.5 to 8.0. I am anxious to give it a try. Just need some wind.
Thinking of a name for this yacht. Canadian Bacon? Wind hog? any good ideas?
Yeah OK! Cisco.. May hap Miss Piggy but I do like Wind Hog, though it is very soft in the face, again leading to Miss Piggy..
The Sail certainly looks the part Brian.
Going from the Razors behavior in strong conditions I reckon it will be fun for spinning out..
Ron
Sorry, but like most guys I fancy her [}:)]
Vic named his winged mini the Berminator maybe you can name yours the BACONATOR. But seriously that is one true work of art. You are a true craftsman
Genius, Pure Genius Brian[}:)][}:)].
IPSKA,
Miss piggy will look like she is giving Birth to Him..
Ron
PS; On the Run(Gees!) I kill me at times.
Great job! Don't forget to add it to the yacht registers
Oh, and don't forget we'd appreciate some action shots too
I will be sure to register, I need to finish my seat cushion first. That thread is locked at the present time.
Video as soon as I get a chance.
Brian
I'll open it ready in anticipation
You've given me the urge to start building again....only Im heading over seas in two weeks
That sure is taking it to a new level Great effort!!
Some people just have far too much time on their hands !!
Just put an AusPost Logo on it and Call it "Pig Mailion"
Brian, it would seem that you are getting Rave revues"No?
Had to figure out a way to haul the fleet around. I was able to pick up a bunch of scrap aluminum from the local trailer manufacturer. It is amazing what they throw in the recycle bin. I was able to make an all aluminum frame from the scrap. I had to make the tail end of my trailer wider so the yacht would fit in the lower level. Sloppy work but it is functional. My "frankentrailer" will now hold both my LLFMs and my truck bed will hold my zooter. My wife is making me put the minis outside now, she selfishly wants to park her car in the garage.
Yes, I have been collecting white knob wind up toys for almost 30 years, I have about 2500 different wind-ups. No land yacht wind ups though.
Brian
a very small sample of my collection
OK,
It is comforting to know that Nutters exist all over the world. I collect different things. Empty Scotch Whisky Bottles are among them(Single Malts of course). Mind you I must be the one to empty them.
Ron
I can hardly believe what I am reading here.
1. That Ron picked up on the wind up toys from the avatars.
2. That Brian has been collecting them for 30 years.
I am stunned and I mean that in the best way. It certainly explains the character that has gone into "Sabydent's Next Build".
You are a champion Brian. Would I be right in saying that "Who Killed Roger Rabbit?" is one of your favourite movies?
