Built a Lefroy frame. Have a dozen of these wheels just sitting, has dual mast steps, going to try a lateen rig. When we had two wood framed yachts going with lateen rigs actually had closest racing. Planned on doing the wood body, but just can't resist trying shrink wrap again.

You could do both - wooden frame covered with doped fabric for that 'vintage model airplane' look. Would look tremendous IMHO.

Is that set up so you can place a mast either inside or outside? Neat.

I am jealous oldMXer. From go to whoa you have got it all spot on.

Fantastic result. When you north Americans (that includes Canada) set your minds to something you accomplish it to the best standards. Top stuff.

With the springyacht have been trying to run 1 meter smaller sail than other yacht, I have a 25 pound weight advantage over other pilot. Pretty even racing, but still feel like I am slightly faster, especially if wind is blowing. Think the sail doesn't twist much at all, just tilts and loads up spring. Is the weight that much of a difference?

Craziest winter I can remember, very warm. Someone told me today average tornadoes this time of year was 50, already at 500+. Right now sustained wind at 36mph gust to 52. Pussin' out and staying home.
