Just a little update from this side. As I?ve mentioned before some of my friends have also been bitten by the bug and have constructed their own mud/dust boats.

One of my friends who is a keen windsurfer came up with his own version of the mini and is interested in what your opinion is about his yacht. He asked me to say that he knows that the seating arrangement is a wee bit dangerous at this stage but he just wants to test the rig out first before he finishes it. He basically fitted his windsurfing rig to a ?steering wheel? and uses it as a swing rig. This way he can still swop it over to his board and use it that way as well. So far the yacht has performed quite well but we?ve had either too much wind or none at all which makes the testing a bit difficult.
He is open to any suggestions /criticisms on his idea and he will be reading it as a guest as he is having trouble registering on this board.

Hey that's a go!.....nothing really wrong with that.

that's what it's all about here, individual interpretation, there are no set rules

think it up , build it , sail it . post, then build another, that's fun, addictive and keeps one out of other mischief

its hands on , mans stuff. lifes a ball
