Mi name is David and I write from C?diz (southern Spain).

I've been reading your wonderful forum from the last months, and more pages. Being crazy, I have made a design that I hope to conclude in a few days.

I place a sketch, if someone wants to added some ideas or correction. I still have time to change the design before finish it.

When I'll finish it, I will place the final result, in case it would be necessary for somebody.

*The thread where the information in spanish is:

Thank you very much to all of you !!!

OK! David the Drawings look good but I will leave any suggestions up to the likes of Paul(Landyacht),Wayne (TP1) etc.
My point is if you are a little crazy, as you say you are. You should fit into the Forum Nicely. To survive on this Rock we all need to be at least a little crazy. Me? I am just a little crazier than the rest[}:)].
Welcome to the Forum Dave.

Welcome to the forum. It looks fantastic!!

I'll leave it to the "Seabreeze Engineers" to comment on the design, thanks for doing this work and making it available to others when finished.

I do like the steering + mast combination set up, very clever. You might need some bearings rather than just bushes there as there would be considerable down force at that point.

It sort of looks to me that the knees would need to be under the armpits ?

Looks good David.

I think Hiko is on to something, the seat back looks too far forward.

I could be wrong, however I thought the idea was to put the centre of gravity just forward of the back wheels, with just enough weight on the nosewheel to be able to steer?

Also, (and my spanich is not great but) the tube sizes look small. Generally 316 stainless is not as strong as steel, but even with steel 43 x 1.5 i think would be too weak. What sizes are usung in the blowies?

You have obviously taken inspiration from the WinDreamer landyacht in your design http://www.windreamer.es/ but as Hiko mentioned the foot steering might be to far back, but it might work very well as a hand steerer.
I am showing a few pics of the size v feet position on a mini yacht compared to the WinDreamer.

Thanks for the commentaries.
The distance from the direction to the base of the seat I think is correct, after tests. Observation: CLASS 5.60
I have proven the structure with program STADD with INOX 316, and is correct in difficult situations, (including two wheels)
Similars: Blokart, Rino, Windreamer, Sailcard, X-sail…

Happy New Year !!

Aerobahia,
One thing it is wise to keep in mind is The KISS Principal (Keep It Simple Stupid) and also keep in mind Murphy's or Sods Law , "If it can go wrong, it will go wrong" The same as applies to a slice of Buttered Toast when dropped, it will inevitably fall buttered side down..

Aerobahia Happy New year to you also !

I still dont get the seat distance measurement From the seat back pivot
to your foot steering bar I get from your drawing by scaling 532mm
My sling back mini measures over the same two points 1120 mm
measuring a Blokart from foot rail to seat back pivot I get 1070mm
There seems to be a large discrepancy between these measurements and yours
if it is to fit similar sized people Am I missing something?

Cheers Hiko

Certainly I create to have measured the distances to my stature (1' 60 mts).
Now I have doubts. I hope are solved in the construction.

Thank you very much to all. itself waiting for commentaries

I understand why you have fixed the seat back where you have
You may find when it is constructed that laying the seat back to a smaller angle than
50 degrees is called for
Looks good Similar to other Spanish yachts that have been posted on seabreeze
