Class 5, Blokart and Mini events to be run. A joint venture between Perth Blokart Club and Sandgropers Land Yacht Club. More details after the Race Committee meeting this coming week

he lake was excellent
in places and seriously different in others.
saw the odd peice of blokart wheel/axle in the bins, so look out in 2014
really enjoyed both 5 and mini racing, still stunned at how much destruction I managed on my own yachts
thank you barry and graham for letting me know that my big windsock was still on the roofrack 
noticed the shadow of it on the road at Mundaring

with all the work weve done on our 5's the winner was a fed5 chassis with a club88 front end and a 4.6m sail,brilliantly and consistently sailed by Graeme Chandler
What a great weekend. Land sailing is alive and well in West Australia.
On Saturday we had light winds but we managed to sail all the races programed thanks to all the personal that run the event, Special thanks to Graham and Ron and the scorers they did a great job and worked tirelessly for the event.
Day two was different with strong winds that challenged us at time, A fair bit of damage to some of the yachts during the event but no injuries . All races where completed.
The blokarts put on some great racing,and where well organized.(I did not get the names for the winners of there event) There was a young Blokart sailer from Kalgoorlie(Ben) who took out a trophy and it was only the second time he had sailed a Blokart. Well done Ben.
