Hi there,
almost all the seabreeze sports here have their freestyle side. Why we don't? Every time I think about freestyle in landsailing, my inspiration dries just after a little while. Maybe I'm just a poor landsailor, but I can't figure more than standing still with a lifted wheel or a 360°.
I mean, something less destructive of this!

Do you know more tricks down there? Have you ever thought of a sort of acrobatic program?

Thank you, cheers

Enrico

sometimes in a 2 dimensional sport, you get to that third dimension-UP , then you come down
how about we make this a thread where you put up photos and "short videos of some of the sillier things that are possible with a landyacht

OK Enrico, these moves need some names..............

1st move is called " Quick Italian Exit " ....crash helmet optional
...................................................... [ without seatbelt ]

2nd move I call that " Italian/Ditch Roll " [level 1] degree of difficulty....5 ......or IDR for short

Roll on The Landyacht Olympics......................

The second move actually appears on the blokart web site as the "Dutch Roll".

The 360 in a blokart does require a certain technique where you steer opposite half way through the spin in order to keep the yacht sailing out of the spin.

Bit of a knack to it that I haven't got yet.[}:)]

uh? So weird, isn't it? Here in Italy the first is renowned as the "Downunder Grinding", the second as the "Aussie Roll"...

I see the limits of our bidimensional universe, but really, I'm amazed that no one has developed freestyle in landyachting as a discipline. As far as I know only the French in the Sixties had a sort of "flying circus".

Cheers

Enrico
