You know, If anyone is thinking of coming down this way for a sail or trip, we can always put you up for a few days and possibly let you use one of my machines, that is if thew wind is right.. Just send out a "Hoy" and we can arrange something. Nope not a B&B just muck in..

We have pinched it.
Esperance a top of 26 degrees
Southern Coastal for Friday Scattered showers extending from the west during the morning becoming widespread in the afternoon with isolated squally thunderstorms extending from the west throughout the day. Small hail possible in the evening. Moderate to fresh NW'ly winds, strengthening during the morning, possibly reaching gale force at times with dangerous wind gusts. Winds becoming W'ly in the evening. hail easing to isolated showers during the morning.

At the moment it's just a gentle zephyr.
Off to batten down the hatches.

Lovely bit of engineering there Chook. If I had the cash (and hadn't left my passport in a pocket, and got it washed after France), I'd be on a flight to see that go!

Chook same here, we want pitchas

Just a tip, and not sure on the heat generated and reflected from the elbow onto the back of the heat shield, however, if you put another sheet spaced 1/4" or more it will drop the reflected heat on the shield felt on the driver side down considerably

Now what would he be after for wantin' an added heat Shield for??? Ifn it's working properly He'll not be after for needin' it, as the speed he's after for doing will cool the heat shield itself...

Knock! Knock! M1. Hellooooo?? Are yuz after for understandin that??

Sunday was a bit of a letdown, when I went to test it.
Firstly I couldn't get the leaf blower started that I'd borrowed. (I only have an electric one). Now I know why it's electric..............
After fresh fuel and much stuffing round and my right arm 200mm longer from pulling the bloody thing, it went, so off to a disused gravel pit 30 kms out of town.
It gave 2 very load coughs with a very rich yellowy flame and iced up. BUGGER!!!
I waited for 40 mins for it to thaw out, but my ignition had failed me.

I replaced the inition relay tonight, for no better result. After much more stuffing round, it turns out the 7amp gel cell had died. Under load it was going open circuit.
I've got another one on charge tonight so tomorrow will be D day with luck on my side.

Yes as sn said it's to increase the fuel flow, is why the bottle is inverted.
Also the surface of the gas freezes when a high discharge rate is being consumed from the bottle when upright and the jets quit.

If it works gibber, it would be my pleasure to get a snap organized for you.

Still have lots to do for Lefroy so back to the shed.

It LIVES..........[}:)]

After much stuffing round and more ignition failures, I got desperate and wrapped 4 sparklers together and stuffed it up it's bum and added much air and away it went.

It was shaking all the windows in the classrooms at the College.
A group of Yr 10's that were at the far end of the farm fencing and up wind heard it clearly as well.

It went through 3/4 of a bottle of gas (in the upright position with all valves flat out on) in about 1& 1/2 minutes and froze the bottle.

Lefroy here it comes..............................
