So! Did you have your heels dug in to slow it down?? That's slow, for Lefroy, isn't it??

No, I had 3 broken batten cups which allowed all the tension out off the battens and made the sail rather flat and vibrate horrendously and I ended up in a pool of hyper saline soup. But I am sure you are relieved that I survived unscathed.
Now, on another note, be prepared for a startling pictorial revelation, which I am certain Landyacht will post. You will be amazed by my brilliance I am sure [}:)]

Can't wait to see what comes up on this thread!!!

No doubt Ron will come out "cannons a blazing".

Speaking of cannons, our good friend Kody checked into hospital on Thursday or Friday for some treatment (a preset appointment, ie no emergency).

Will keep you posted.

You certainly got the emotions all fired up with the dawn service TP1.

A first class performance, that bought a tear, to this little chicken's eye.

Never got to say farewell and thanks for a fantastic hoon around in your play ground big fella.

You do me GREAT Honour Sir, Great Honour. If you keep up this, OUT OF CHARACTER, behavior I may even get to think of calling you MATE. Now we can't have that, can we??
Further more; Enough with the excuses and get the Damned thing fixed and put on a turn of real speed and none of the Lallygaging about!

Damn it all! Landyacht! What is the matter with you?? Cut the Admiratiuon Crap and post the Pic's we are all in suspenders here.

For Gawdsake! Chook stop the crying and Put Up or Shut Up!!!

Does this cover your criteria for "All Guns Blazing" Cisco

I meant that in the Kindest of AUSTRALIAN TERMS. Colloquialism = Friend, Fellow Traveler, Drinking Pal etc. The Chockolate Highway was never a part of my vocabulary.

Well I got my plot for Sunday down loaded.
Have a peek at the graphs and if ya have Google earth click the icon above the map to over lay it.

Wayne have you fitted the windscreen washers to your glasses yet?????
I have never seen a bloke hammer through a lagoon of wet plaster before.

I thought I was flying on the glass like surface, with a grin like I had swallowed a coat hanger, only to watch Paul's daughters cruise past with their casual "thumbs up".
They are all, very talented young ladies.

The odd "Nullarbor plague locust" was a hazard, when it smacked you between the eyes, it certainly bought you back to reality real quick.

Sid's sailing antics when one shot up his nose would have been a sight to behold.
Thankyou all , for a fantastic adventure.

There were enough of them!
I just had a thought, if we'd had our wits about us we could have used them as a quick snack on the go. Plenty of protien, very little fat, with just a slight hint of salinity
By the way who was it that spent all that time explaining the diference between locusts and grasshoppers

suspenders might have been the appropiate accoutriment
sadly when viewing my photos I thought maybe they might be considered inapropriate material, so might have to wait a bit for editing training

Ok Ok!!!!! TP1 you win.
I'll grant you this one. They are from the same family, but there are 3 completely different species, of which we don't get the throated ones, in this part of the world. I owe ya a beer.

Those locusts had good fat deposits and will definitely lay eggs with that amount of condition on them.
Look out this coming spring, if weather conditions are right, you're in line for a swarm or two.
The traffic were covered in them, from travelling west through the swarms, at the Norseman BP truck stop.

Not sure about eating them. I'll leave that to other cultures?????

Yeh, it was unreal to have that many out on the barren salt. There were some butterflies and moths as well as the other pest who always needed his glasses cleaned!!!!!!![}:)] .

Well guess who has himself a new Water Proof Helmet Cam and it also fits the BAre Bone, TP1. A very nice little unit it is too. Now all I need is some half way decent wind to get out there and use the damned thing.

You just have to come to Tassie and have a sail in our paddock with box thorns.[}:)][}:)]

I'll not say where or when but I knew a bloke once that really had a thing about Lycra, Hiyuk! 't seems that they had had a couple of sherbets and were driving home, the bloke was in the back seat for some odd reason of the female persuasion. Seems they were driving up a steep hill and spotted a Lycra Clad Cyclist labouring gamely up as well. There was a Riding Crop on the back Sill The last they saw of the cyclist was heading bush in one hell of a hurry
I really shouldn't laugh about it cos that cut had to be extremely painful and not to mention Dangerous[}:)]

I am thinking The Silver Streak would make a hell of a good Target for the same treatment
