interesting.......but in reality I think similar have been constructed in the past.

for whatever.

the truck chassi he says is a 2ton chev out here we would consider

it as a 5 ton. i think he uses milatry specs that are downrated severly.

I recon on rails it would work well, however across the desert his design with long

overhangs for and aft this would impeed his progress on undulating sands as

shown in his own video.....best of luck Buddy!!!

cant see the problem here.
I would suggest that he change to a schooner rig though. the smaller mizzen is really to steady the yacht upwind rather than give any power to the drive. bring the main to midships and a smaller foremast ,it could carry some serious sail and do the intended job(serious smiley?)
