The remains of my first homebuild, all wood, of course a masterpiece of ingenuity, about 1995. The square hole was the mast step, the two smaller planks led to the fork, the rest of the chassis and the axle made of planks from pallets. Power from a huge Vaurien rig with all its shrouds, the chassis bended as soon a put it on the mast, I soon replaced the chassis with an aluminum A frame. The wooden chassis carried on its career first as a top fuel dragster mockup, finally as a home warbird cockpit.

Now a very nice workbench to saw and drill.
