Well I don't really know and I do feel need for input here but it would seem that it was a fairly quiet site before all the Banter and Fun poking started and what with the PUT DOWNS of the games everyone has stopped thinking up stuff to Stop certain parties from Choking the S**t out of each other not that that would ever happen. Seems to me that is what is what was wanted. Personally I have found journals of pure Information quite boring and mind numbing which then shut me down and I would fall off of my chair Bored to Death.

Ron

I've not been doing anything landsailing related except drawing sketches of ideas. Im expecting some steel to be delivered one of these days so I can fix up my Red Rocket, but other than that not much has been happening.

I have an experimental kayak project going but am not sure whether I can finish fillets and glassing the seams in the cold whether (10-15 degrees). Anyone know of some cold weather glassing tricks?

Nikrum: I agree with you re. the journal reading, I've also found it the best way to fall asleep

The forum seems to slow down in the Australian winter, It's happened in the last couple of years, and seems to happening on most sections on seabreeze at the moment.
2 years ago "Landyacht" instigated a thread for new and novel yacht designs and last year the focus was on clever innovations [I think it was].

Maybe some one would like to make some suggestions for this year?

We do not have to talk for the sake of talking.

If that is what one wants to do there is the general section which has plenty of subjects for those that are bored or mischievious to comment on.

Here is a topic that may be of interest to some. I had fun with it.

So I'll throw this out there for advice and comment

rebuild needed for october weekend @ Lake Gilles. I am having trouble

[Adelaide area] sourcing an TIG welder person to do some small job on my

cart., changing it to a regular landyacht type machine. What welder should i buy

if needed, am a fair = stick welder and have some time on mig. Can weld thin

galv sheet.....what's my chances, or is there someone out there who is already

set up and for the right sheckles would preform well... I recon about 4-6

hours with all parts already made, pre welding.

if its with polyester resin, just bump up the catalyst from 1% up to 2 or 3%, work in small batches of say 200-300gms,and let it get on slightly thicker, and leave overnight or even a day to vent off and lose its tackiness.
