Interesting stuff
sail design and lay over steering it appears to be the main advances in 20 years (although I guess that's 70% of a land yacht)

Ah the good old days, how those magazines have changed. back then you could get a story printed if you had photos of a MUDDY crotch and you lifted your wheel for the camera . I dont think we'd look sexy enough now, even with that amazing mo.

the photos were from 1984and the yachts were well and truly out of date when the article appeared, and we were no longer single

Gee Paul if you think those yachts were outdated try sailing this little beauty,It maybe the first landyacht ever to sail Lefroy,that's me on the back

careful Andy , theres lots of people insisting on royalties ,every time this photo turns up,does look like fun though, Promogirl interviewed a woman who as a child ,lived with family who built the yacht. of course weall know it as The VIKING circa 1898,Lake Lefroy , Western Australia
