I just think most of us are busy at the moment, and landsaling sort of gets on the back burner over the cool months. The same thing has happened the last couple of years I think last year there was a design comp. to fill in some time.
So bb are you still on holidays or back in cold Adelaide?
pretty quiet here too, TP1 has his mini chopped up for a complete rebuild, Crazy trav has a new job on rosters, Ive sworn not build one this year[}:)] sold off 2 minis and had a big look at the sail pile. I stripped all the good mast pockets ,batten pockets ,and wear strips from all the sails that were trashed. they were mostly late80's to mid 90's stuff.
the rubbish heap looked like this
theres only 8 left for recutting
biggest problem at the mo is that I'm having to rebuild a room of the house as the ceiling was dodgey and some of the old mulga stumps crumbled with all the little aftershocks, so its getting a complete strip out.
BUT , long weekend coming , so down tools a go sail.
Beachball, did you get some good sailing in
