I think they were 3 x 18.5 Amp hour batteries coupled with 80watt sloar panel never had any power problems running my small amount of power requirements ie sounder,GPS, radio and a few lights as well as usual navigation lights. On my previous Yacht the mighty Folkboat "Whiteout".
The new Yacht "Blues Banned" I had to rewire the solar panels and upgrade the switch boards etc.
Hi Whiteout,
looks like a nice set-up.
Im interested in what you used to crimp & connect wires, & what type of connectors did you use?
cheers
Nice looking wiring job. If I was a nit picker or just wiring up a boat I would always have the wires with just a bit of a loop down to ensure any moisture running along the cables fell off the lowest part of the wire and not run to the terminals. If you have bus bars instal them vertical so the wires with down loops keep moisture away. Main cable bundles underneath for the same reason.
