Hey DJ,

What do you think of the new fin?

I've only had it a few weeks but I have tried it in a variety of conditions and I love it.
I tried many boards before getting this, and it was the first one that I got straight on and felt good, very forgiving.

StevenK,
My sentiments exactly, that is why I chose the 2014 as my new board.
A couple of months a go I demoed one and reported pretty much your comments.
Can't wait for mine to arrive.
Have fun.

That new Naish fin is very good IMO.. It's a huge improvement over the old one.

This time next week I should have mine.. Fingers crossed..

I agree with StevenK??? My vid proves it..

Looks like a few times you burried about half the board in the wave infront but it just keeps gliding then pops up! Haven't down winded mine yet. Can't wait!

IMO what makes a good DW board is the test of how it performs when pearling.. because pearling is a very big part of DW'ing.

Some boards do the big boof when they pearl or if you're good enough to avoid the boof by moving back you often get the big sprinkler thing happening.. and all this has a big slowing down effect.

The new Glide is the best behaving board when pearling that I've used.. It's like a hot knife through butter..Not even a splash or a ripple.. and more importantly no slowing down at all.

Looks like the new allstar from starboard has moved from the boof to the knife....will b interesting to see how it downwinds and deals with the pearling

Cheers
