Does anyone know weight recommended for theis model and anyhting else regarding performance pros /cons construction ding easy or not etc. Thanks
Hi mate,
I weigh 8okg and have been riding the naish Hokua 9"3 for bout 2 years now.
Over the past week ive been trying the PSH 8"6 ripper wide.
The board looks the goods with a great show of craftsmanship and finish.
I was worried about the lenght and volume but after a few surfs, ive found the board to be too big.
The width is really hard to drive properly off the bottom and keep level when smashing critical sections.
I think it would better suit a guy around 90kg, that rides aggressive.
Like the board but im gonna go for the PSH 8"6 or 8"0 i think.
hope this helped
Yep there is plenty of foam in middle of these boards and they handle more weight than you think.
At 80kg you would be looking at 8' Wide Ripper-

Also, the 8'11 Ripper is a classic at 28 1/2" and will hold 80-90k no problem
