Hey Everyone,
Unfortunately wrong place ...wrong time on a wave the other day my Naish Mana, she Buckled. It happens to the best of us... Been super happy with this board and i think that they are a good build but just thems is the breaks... any board would have gone in the surf/position I was in.
Anyone had any experience repairing a buckle like this or know if it is worth it.
I have some experience repairing fibre glass but not eps/epoxy ..
I got a quote for about 200 bucks at a local repairer.... is it worth it .. or do you think it will break again or even in another place of weakness....
As you can see from the photos its cracked along the deck and both rails .. however bottom didnt go ... so the shape/rocker and structural integrity is still kinda of there..
Cheers for any responses.
Mikey.
Hi Mikey,
Had the same think happen to my mana (not the boards fault) looks identical.
Worth repairing
A local repairer fixed it up, a little bit heavier but very tuff.
The board is still going strong after about 2 years, sold it (cheap) to a mate for his first board loved it.
That's a bummer.. I've seen boards damaged like that fixed and ended up as good as new.. only a little heavier.

Definitely worth repairing......its not like its in the mid section of the board where stress/flex levels are much higher
Sounds like it's repairable, least it is nowhere near 2 pieces!
Care to share exactly how this happened?
I also have a Mana 9'5 and want to try to avoid this situation.
Sounds worth it to me, i had almost identical damage to a 10 mana a few years ago cost 180 to repair and had no prob for the following 12 months that i had it.
Cheers
Hey Guys, thanks for all the replies. Going into the shop this week sometime... just had it drying out in the garage to get rid of any water in the core. Will put up some photos post repair... and tell you how it goes.
