Hi all,

I've had this board for a couple of months (2013 model). So far, it's been fun to learn on. I've only had a chance to use it on flat water and 1-foot barely-breaking non-waves, but I look forward to trying it in proper waves someday.

Big question: why is this board so curved? There's rocker and then there's this thing - plus to make matters worse, it's yellow, so it really looks like a banana...the nose and tail are way up out of the water... It seems way too curved, considering a lot of sup boards are really flat. Why is it designed this way??

Is it going to work in waves at all?
