Hey I was gonna suggest the 9'6 x 27 Starboard but that's 117L.
The other gun by Starboard is the 10'3 x 28.5 which is 145L.
Hope this helps.

The Baby Bomb has a little too much rocker for my liking.

I'd seriously consider a custom if I was you. I think you might be a little bit too heavy for the 10'8 Naish Gun, plus it is a real Hawaiian Super-Pin in template.

(Note - I've not seen a Sub Vector in the flesh, but have seen it online...)
If you feel really comfy on the 9'3 Sub Vector, then try getting a custom "Step-Up". Think 9'9 and similar rocker, rails & template, except elongate that Square Diamond into a rounded-pin. Keep the same litres, maybe add 5 litres... but see what RobDog or Dogman have to say about adding 5 litres. (I think +5 would be good, plus you will naturally get +5 via the extra length)...

Think along the lines of a Ten-Thirty, but with an ever so slightly more pinny tail, but retain the Sub Vector nose template, not the fuller nose from the Ten-Thirty. Retain the same width from the Sub... circa 28"3/4?

Do you have Dan Cleary's contact details?

Note: I'm riding (& currently in love with) a 9'6 Bob McTavish Pin Tail hand-shape custom Longboard (10 inch Single Fin with volane glass), not SUP. But I have a couple of guns & fun guns that don't collect dust...

To simplify;

Just elongate that Sub Vector Diamond into a rounded pin, elongate the nose template by about 3 inches. Effectively adding 6 inches to total length.

Also elongate the rocker profile. Same ultimate Nose & Tail lift, but effectively a flatter rocker because it is slightly stretched. So a very similar rocker.

The Starbie Gun looks fun... as per Greenroom. ^

Depends what sort of waves you want to tackle... proper big reef breaks and bombora's then the go the Starbie, maybe.

For a general all purpose board that can step-up into 1-1.75-2 times overhead, then go a custom, as I described above (rounded pin Sub Vector). For 1.75-2.5-3 times overhead, you will want a proper gun.

Hello J, I have been using a Baby Bomb already for few months.
I'm 70 kilos and it complement a Stun Gun 8'2.
I only take the BB out if waves are 1'5 over head and up.
It does what is made for..
Has allot of rocker and scoop but that is what you need in big stuff..
Boards works great is not very loose and takes time to accelerate down the face of the wave but final speed is excellent and you are always in control even in steep take off.
I like it with the thruster set up.
I think at your weight it will be no good..
Maybe have a look at the Soon of Bombora 10'6 x 28,5.
Bye Jankie

hi jarad
yep baby bom definately too small for 100+ kilos.
I,m close to 90Kg and went with the son of bom 10,6 130litres.
Great board played around with fin size to losen it up.
The outline being pin nose and tale is still a bit tippy even though its 130 litres.
this is perfect size for me but still may not be right for you.
