This is my brand new, one of a kind wood SUP - step deck, single concave into double concave, quad box, 9'9" board. An absolutely stunning piece of art, made by "Keith", here in Potato Point, NSW.
Yeah, but now you need a SUP that you can take out in the water!! If you hurt that board I'll come looking for you!!! Seriously that is as you describe it. a piece of art!! What are the species on it? It looks like it might have a bit of weight in it.( All the better for running over non SUP critters).
The board is 9'9", X 31", X 4 1/2". I haven't weighed it, but of course it is heavier than most other methods of construction. My friend who made it has shaped countless boards, but this is the first wood board. His 2nd is over half made. He hopes to make and sell around a dozen a year. I only got this tonight, we will take it out in the morning - for sure it is to be used. My other board is a C4 waterman inflatable - I got that as I am a traveling whitewater raft guide, back to Colorado for a season in 6 weeks - so I am keen to use something with edges. I will let you know how it performs
