Not from Australia but the 12'0 gun is still the most used board in our garage. The board is used for 8-10 mile flatwater paddles each week, borrowed by co workers to learn on weekly, used in downwind scenario's like racing or cruising (You won't win but you won't come in last), Tandem Suping, fishing off, Spear fishing off, Surfing small waves (Leave the riding big waves to the pro's), etc. It is still our most versatile board for my family. Not the board for everyone but in the end we all like different flavors of ice cream and that's what is so beautiful about each one of us.
If anyone ever is visiting Maui and needs a board more than welcome to use.

Byron

P.S.

Original version is here with music that Ollie might like or remember from his days prior to getting dragged into the church that one day while hanging in the car...JK

That's exactly why I've ordered one Byron. Looking forward to picking it up this weekend.
Like your son's style there,( I assume that's Noah ),nice clip.

Regards

Mick

Looks like I'm no.4 on the Vicco Voldermont 12 bandwagon.
This weekend you reckon MickV? I didn't think the new shipment had arrived in the country yet,
Cheers,
Camo.

Camo, I saw a banner ad on here from Balmoral saying the latest shipment had arrived. It has a link to their site which shows the range and pricing.- Ronnie

Any particular reason for the giant board to cahse big waves...I can understand the reasons for anything over 8 foot but under that I would of thought your normal board would be fine...........

Paddle power into wind and chop, bigger waves move much much faster. Gives you a bit of safety as you do not have to be really close to impact zone. They hold a line really well at warp factor ten.
You can pretend you are Laird

I've gone for the blue GV, seeming I alresdy have a blue Surfshapes. Didn't want to get the quiver all colour unco-ordinated.

Hilly, I think you have posted this before, but what side bites are you using in the GV with the 6" centre (small surf)

Cheers

I have 2 PSH 12'0 guns and converted one of them to a quad for giggles and experimentation. Can't give feedback because have not had ideal conditions.

Phill, heard from AA and Rich. Being shipped to stores late next week.
