I have just been in the Broken Creek Classic ,I was in the 10km race on my Penetrator 16ft . The race was beteen two Weirs and there was no flow.My time was 1:02:00

Hi Tony. That's a pretty good time for flat water over 10km. How many other SUPs were racing.
I was the only one in the race , I was getting over the race the week before " Hawkebsury Canoe Race " . It was my 20th Hawkebsury ,also my parter to ,we had not been in the canoe for 5years. It was a ICF C2 and we did well to get throught .

1:02hr for 10km, thats flying I could only manage 8.8 km/h average for 5km.

Just did a time trial on the Yarra on the 12'6" New and absolutely busted a gut to maintain 10km/h over 2.3km. That you did it for 10km is amazing. I hope you are able to come to Melbourne on Dec 5th for the Great Melbourne Paddle. We promise not to unleash the jelly fish on you this time.
