My wife's first Stand Up Session today on the River.

Stayed dry and loved it.......she has now claimed the 14' as hers.......hopefully that means a window for me to add another to my quiver !

Thought I'd share the magic.

Cool shots. Have been out with my wife for a couple paddles and loved it so know what you mean.

Is that the 14 foot Bark Expedition Board?

How does it go on a) flatwater and b) downwinders?

Hey mate,

It's the 14' Surftech Laird Coastrunner.

The tail set up screams serious downwinder but the longboard shaped nose and relatively flat rocker make it very much more a cruiser than a dedicated downwinder.

It does not seem to handle the open water chop to well but is perfect for a learner or me with my 2 1/2 year old on the front.

Missus Surfanimals looks hot on the 14' Laird. Clearly you're going to have to buy another 14' Glide or the new Javelin just to keep up with her.

Yep, I reckon I've come close to nailing it.

This was yesterdays morning activity on the coast followed by the afternoon in the river. Not a bad set up huh ?
