Sittin here waiting for a deer, drinking beer, wasting bullets . Been waiting for these pics to turn up, smashing it big fella!!!!!!
JoeyF. Legeeeeennnnndddddd!!! Just a rough indication of where it may be? Equatorial obviously. Phillipines perhaps? I'm a goofy footer recovering very quickly from a hip replacement and want to reward myself for doing rehab. That looks perfect. PM me one word if you like
(two would be preferable.).
PS I like the way you put info onto your profile. Too many people hide under the cover of anonymity on this forum. Not cool
, and those are generally people to not pay much credence to.
EXCELLENT pix btw. I hope you've got some video footage to post as well because you look to be a very competent surfer Cheers and as DJ the God of Downwinding said "Welcome to the Breeze". (I personally always say 'Amen' after reading a DJ post
)
You're a true gentleman Stimo, unlike that snaking dog JoeyF. MV addiction, Strait . It's not Moonee Valley near Bass Strait is It?
. Looks like you all had a ball!!! He must be a good bloke if you're bagging him in his first post.
It's like you were a .......... Queenslander????
So competetive
.
Thanks for the nice welcome Gents!
Not sure about the legend stuff, but i suppose anyone who can snake stimo is close, or pretty bloody good. hahaha!
HINT: you have latitude. Longitude = 99*39'00"E
Leroy it is not the Faulkland Islands!
Supthecreek, I have to say I have been waiting for some good pix's the one above is my charging mates Wessy and Stadsey, and the great man Stimo. I have some more great shots of Galvo Rog, The Fridge, Jenks, Basha and Occy
Okay maybe a little over the top with the legend stuff, (depends on your definition of legend I suppose). Love the Pix though, nice to see some SUP friendly lefts for a change. I've already sussed the MV (magnificent) and some alternatives. I'm gonna aim for mid next year. Hopefully a couple of others will tag along as well. Great input.
And see, if you even say anything about the blank profile Avatars you get red thumbed (whatever that means).
Cheers and thanks for sharing.
Leroy the MV Addiction is a magnificent boat with loads of room, great cabins and the captain and crew were awesome.A very special trip that would be hard to top anywhere in the world. We had 10 SUPers on board and more than 20SUPs. there was loads of room and food was great.
Good luck with organizing a trip you should have no trouble finding 10 frothing SUPers
I would love to join you but currently planning a trip with my son and also have 2 weeks at Gnaraloo and 1 week in Bali
Even got the short boards out for a late arvo glass off session
And joe even did some R&D work on his Ace
And he did a heap of this well we all did anybody seen any Deer out here
Would love to see the rest of this wave (and the reef walk always hang onto your paddle ) nice dive Rog surprised you didn't tuck and turn and call him off it
Stimo, You charged mate!
So amped! This photo of you, the morning after attempting to out drink Wes cracks me up! how much beer did you drink? you look very hydrated!!!!
Had to go high vis shorts (bit tight )to get in the photos that's why the 8/0 was bit sinky that day .had a six pack by the end of the trip
Think this one cleared the head after that big night
Hey guy's a couple of the older members I'm trying to convince into come are concerned re: The heaviness of the wave and payment for a mistake. I said, don't fall off,
but it's not quite that bad is it?
They had been told every break is over ankle deep razor sharp coral.
Again, I said I thought it was shin deep
. Any comments appreciated as at the moment there probably will be a reasonably large variation in ability and age levels.
My gratitude to you Stimo, hopefully it will allay some fears, (especially from me!!!) My recollection of Indo waves are that the wave is much like QLD and has it's power in the lip, unlike the Southern and South Western states where power is generated from the base of the wave.
