A bunch of the Gold Coast crew over here in Maui headed out for a post race dinner in Paia tonight and while we walking along the main street, we saw these hanging in a shop window...

Thought they might go well with DJ's favorite shoes

you guys are on the wrong corner, the Paia fish co. is on the corner to your right... Its the best place to eat in Paia, although they have stopped serving hinanos so you have to have bikini blondes with your burgers now, still the best fish burgers ever!

btw.. I bet even the cool guys in Paia wear Crocs..

I once stayed in a house just a few doors down from that spot.. Jeez I love that place.

Did you guys check out the waterfall just up the road past Hookipa?

Thanks for thinking of me Ali.. and congrats on todays results.. I wish I was there.

Not yet, just been training the last few days. Looking into getting a casr to explore the island more in the next few days.

Hey Ali.. If you get time make sure you do a drive up to the top of the Haleakala volcano for a sunrise.. It's something that shouldn't be missed.

Haleakal?, "The House of the Sun", is a dormant volcano and the tallest peak on Maui, reaching 10,023 feet above sea level.

The crater, or more correctly called the depression, is large enough to hold the entire island of Manhattan. It is 7.5 miles long, 2.5 miles wide and 3000 feet deep. The crater includes its own mini-mountain range of nine cinder cones - the largest of which is over 1000 feet high.

Many believe that Haleakal? Crater resembles the surface of the moon or, more likely, Mars with its red hue.
