I took some footage of Miller late this arvo with my Olympus.
As you all know already the zoom and quality is not that crash hot.
But I hope you enjoy it.

looking at the olympus 1030 but leaning towards the pentax optio w60 (latest model) seems to have a faster shutter lag?????and is 5x optical zoom
if anyone knows about either give us your opinion

spent some time at brissvegas on the weekend did some paddling in bay from the manly boat harbour to the brisbane docks and back
called in on the way back down the coast and went for a paddle
saw some dudes on sup's and had to go for a paddle dont see any down my way
past a dude on a naish 9'6 on the way out and now worked out that it was marty(thanks for the naish 09 sup porn mag on the windscreen wipers)
im coming back up that way soon
hope the waves are bigger then
as it couldnt get any smaller

Yep that was me. It was good to see you had made your way up to our neck of the woods, shame there wasnt to much swell about for you at the Alley.
It was still a great day to be in the water.
I could tell it was you not for the long hair coming from your helmet but your nice fluent wave riding style as seen on your vids mate.

Most of the shots on my website are taken with the Olympus 1030, its a nice easy camera to use just tie it to your wetsuit and of you go and at $400 delivered i couldn't say no.

sure you didnt know it was me when that swarm of flees jumped off my back when i hit the water and landed on you as you paddled past
my missus and kids played in the park for a while then my 4 yr old got in the car and turned the lights on and drained the battery
not so funny..lol...
a quick push start and i drove back home
might make it up late sunday and or full day monday
looks like the swell is coming with me

Just ordered the pentax like the longer zoom should have it by the weekend will post shots to compare got it for about 400 with 2g card and bag.
