I finish work at 6pm tonight.Then 4 days off.
Have I missed this east coast lows best?
Hangin to get into it.
Jason
Hasn't really done here in Sydney yet Jason. Low has been too close with too much wind - not to mention the 200mm of rain in 3 days. Even though we have had 4 metres plus now for the third day, just 3 days after a run of 9 days straight of 2-3 x OH!
A couple of the points here have waves but not what we were expecting. That said, the period has ramped up and the direction gone more east which will make for some interesting stuff today. I'm gonna hit for the late on the higher tide.
Here's my local this morning:
You and Mel coming up for the club presso this Sat?
The South coast is firing! A couple of the points are holding 10-12 foot but there are clean up sets of almost half that again coming through. I saw a popular left breaking this morning that would have been in the 15 foot plus range and it looked rideable......for someone else. I'll see if any of the iphone pics worked and post them later.
Chinaman's (Sydney Harbour) was working this am and it was overhead at Grotto with the ocean skis running down 1k to Clontarf. Might still be in tomorrow for some ling runners on the 14!
would've takeen some pics if it wasn't pissing down and someone was out, at least the wind has stopped a little, nearly cleaning it up enough to be somewhat rideable. maybe tomorrow
Jarryd
Mel and friends hit a rarely surfed mythical wave today which she is calling the best session she has ever had!
I sat at work and stewed
We're amped for the weekend.
No go for presso sorry John as the roads are Kaos with minor flooding hopefully easing not increasing.
Seems to have finally come good here in Sydney. We had offshores all night and this morning - just had the scariest surf all year at one of the local slabs
