Not SUP but this place looks like a bit of fun. Has anyone had a crack out here on a SUP and if so how did you get on? Looks like a weird setup. Would enjoy the no paddling out!!!

Hey Ted. Not supped but done exactly that on waveskis. We were surfing the left (best waves I have had up there BTW) then at the end of the session played around on the crosswaves bit. That is at the end of the ride and can easily be avoided.

The amount of air you can get is mad - remember though you are strapped in to a goatboat - wouldn't be much fun on a SUP I wouldn't think. That vid brings back fond memories

I used to surf it on a shortboard. 4 of us would head out in a tinny 2 would surf the other 2 would scuba, then swap over. Had another goldcoast seabreezer put us on the rocks in an oc6 training with the mooloolaba boys and then we had to swim the canoe into mudjimba.

Yep SUP'd it before. Gets a pretty big wave for bugger all swell over there! I was pretty new to SUP at the time, so somewhat timid being over reef. Some spectacular snorkelling there though!

Keen to hit it again soon.
