I think I took this one, we shared the camera around this day
Hilly has supped this wave at a similar size
Torquay Point Rich was shreading that day as he and Lummers were pushing each other pretty hard. Rich hit light speed on a wave then he saw someone paddle directly into his path. He did avoide them and it ended up looking like this.
As they say no good deed goes unpunished.

Woops, Sorry guys the caption for Photo 1 and photo 3 are the wrong way round!!
Notice how crowded it was.. Rode my SUP most days up to 15knts of offshore wind then my short board as it was to hard to paddle the SUP on to the wave!!!
Very lucky to get it like that out of season!!You have to be very careful on a SUP at J-Bay its self as the locals do not like the SUP thing to much! So I was very careful there to do the right thing not take to many sets or stay out too long. However Seals pt At St Francis is a Great SUP Wave and most week days I surfed with the same 8 to 10 guys and girls who at first did not even smile,, but after a few surfs where I did the right thing, only took my share and called some of them onto the set waves they all were more than happy to say good morning and have a chat..
There is a local guy there Alistar who rips on a SUP one of the best I have ever seen. Full rail to rail cutbacks smashing the second part off of the white water and driving bottom turns with only 1 fin on the 9'6 Naish quad left in the water really impressive to see!!
Wow some great shots keep em rolling in , Jacko post your Straddie shots from today , that place is a nasty Sup spot and very heavy in the pit. I broke my 9-10 there.
I'll post the winner on Friday night. Doggie surely you have an entry ?
Rob
Yeah Mac that's it's an Aus pic comp and this shot of Jacko is definetly in the running , I reckon thats from when Jacko and Trev went to a Northern point of a Southern Island
Rob

These are East Coast Vicco the Monday after the SupVic weekend recently, glad I hung around down there an extra day.
Hey Rob as it is a sup forum I would have thought a sup on the wave should be in the criteria. Really like your first photo.
Great photos guys but mainly tow or shortboard

Bells again...at the other end of the size scale.......it's great how very few bother with it when its like this....I suppose thats one of the advantages of sup........ we don't need smokin line ups to have fun
3/9/09

17/9/09
11/10/09
This shot of LSD's of Bells I reckon is all time , let's see the best your best pic of an Aussie wave. To get the ball rolling this is my shot at Point Cartwright at Sunshine Coast last year an obvious second. Come Friday lets vote on it and I will send out a Power Band and a Von Piros T-shirt to the winner. No rules just you or your mate took the shot.
Rob
This was the original post says Aussie wave. So as long of the shot is in Aus and is a wave then whats on it short long sup etc should be irrelevant.
