Just posted these in the other topic but thought they might also fit here.
The full seq of this will be in Sup world from what i'm told and is a cracker wipeout.
Swellnet's wave of the day today. Maybe not pic of the year but maybe points for freshness - it's been like this for the past week south of the border.
Here's a couple of nice pics from Aucklands East coast, they won't win any prizes and they're not from Aus but I thought i'd join in anyway.
Some call him "YODA."
Not the biggest wave, Not the biggest move.
Just the "master" "cruising" in his favourite spot. PRK
The suns out and the winds offshore...sure captures what this sports all about IMO
Thanks to everyone that has posted pics , the response has been insane. This is a group of shots that have made the short list. I've added a couple of my own shots at the end to fill the music clip but they obviously don't count.
Keep posting if it's good you'll be in the running , I'll announce the winner some time tomorrow night.

click here to view the finalists so far>> (I had to leave out some of the smaller frame shots they didn't fit in the video)
Click the cross hash on the bottom right corner to watch it full screen
My 1st vote goes to Casso's wave in his suit and my 2nd vote goes to the one of Billy taking the drop in the lip. I suppose SUP photos should have more weight in the voting even though you didn't ask for SUP only photos.
Maybe next time we should do seperate ones for SUP in Oz, Any Water craft in Oz and Any Water craft Anywhere. This should keep everyone happy.
Hey Robdog that 2nd pic is awesome.
Balls of steel required.
I think I would just watch from the beach

So many good shots very hard to pick as 4 or 5 of them could have won but it came down to these 2 and I can't split them ? so you get a Von Piros shirt each.
What size boys ? Goatman & Jacko. Pm me
Rob
why not throw in a 'cameron gillies electrical' T-shirt while we at it!!! What the hell do they want a Von Piros T-shirt for??? Ripped off!!!!
Mmmmm....not sure why that came out so small. I followed Oliver's posting suggestion - back to the drawing board, I suppose.
Here are some classic photos of my mate Mani King taken on the weekend. Too late, I know, but great shots anyway
