Hi Victorian SUP crew..
this Sunday the 16th of September, Surf Coast SUP surfing club 'Bass SUP' is holding a fun/social SUP surfing event at Ocean Grove Main Beach (near the boat ramp). The event is welcome to all SUP paddlers who are keen to get wet and catch a few waves amongst a fun social atmosphere. For anyone wishing to take part, you will be required, for insurance purposes, to become a Bass SUP member. Day memberships are $10- and annual membership is $30-.
Joining us for the day will be the crew from Fanatic who have made the trip down from NSW to showcase and demo their latest 2013 offerings.
schedule for the day is;
7.45 (registration and sign in)
8.00 set up and briefing
8.30 kick off
there will be a BBQ sizzling some sausages and drinks available for purchase.
The idea is to run a fun surf style comp morning, Sausage sizzle lunch where Adam Quinn will talk through the new Fanatic range and offer the opportunity to test the new wave / all round board and paddles. The objective for the afternoon is to head to the Barwon River (about 5 minutes drive) and try the new flat water and race board range.
I hope to see you there..
Sounds like a good plan to me Nick and looking good for some swell on the weekend as well, great to see the crew gets some smokin waves for a change...
Matt has posted forecast chart and location map on this forum post...yeawww..looks like the conditions could be EPIC!
