Get any concerns or ideas in to your rep. We have a list of items on the agenda already. Let's work together to make the SUP Nationals a great event, building on each year.
Yeah if it blows NE then first half will be cross on and the last 5km will be straight onshore. More than likely it will blow N or NNE so it wont be to bad, it is still a good run but you just have to read the bumps better as the main bumps are going out to sea!!
I think surfing Aus have smashed it ..... Well done!
Surfing Thursday Friday, bop Saturday and a smoking DW on Sunday yeeeew!!
"The race will have a beach start and finish with starting line positions for each competitor determined by seeding."
Does anyone have knowledge on this re. the BOP?
Early on there was talk of a flat water section at the end of the marathon. Is this still the case and how far?

Big congrats from me regarding the professionalism of your online delivery. Keep up the good work Surfing Australia. And a big congrats to all the winner and competitors in what looks like less than ideal conditions.
Super tough conditions but a great day for the Queenslanders taking out open mens , womens & over 40's (Jackson , Shakira & Jonesy) I was competing so this is just a few shots. Props to Surfing Australia for a very professionally run event.
Sorry about the side shot. Something seems to go wrong when posting from an iPad. Unfortunately only have my iPad in Qld.
.Richard Finlay Jones winning his over 50s final
Jonesy was very happy with he and Casso getting 1st and 2nd in the over 40s
A bit of carnage in some brutal conditions for the Technical Races at Currumbin Beach this morning. Congratulations Lincoln Dews and Karla Gilbert on their impressive victories. And also to everyone for battling the course.
Big effort from everyone in today's marathon - starting at Broadbeach and finishing inside Currumbin Ck near the Currumbin RSL. Congratulations to everyone. Jake Jensen took out the men's race, ahead of Beau O'Brien, Troy Pease and Lincoln Dews. Karla Gilbert completed the double, winning the marathon after yesterday's win in the Technical Race. Angie Jackson was second and Terrene Black was third.
Sadly Angie, after working a treat for the races on Saturday, the timing device had some tech issues for the marathon and did not record finish times.
