Yew!!!
Come on Lincoln!!!!
Didnt realize he was competing , could be a big dark horse.Good luck to him , would be awesome if he finished right at the pointy end.
Here's a list of all the Aussies on entry list, sup & prone, solo & teams. Good luck to all the Aussie competitors, hopefully we see plenty of familiar faces at the pointy end of the field!
Anyone having trouble with the SupRacer link you can also try this one..

Looks like Kia Lenny has a lead over Connor and Danny soon after the start.. and Kia has Dave Kalama on his support boat.

SUPracer.com is up and running again (just...). We were getting bombarded with traffic earlier and the site crashed. EVERYONE wants to follow this race.
The latest: Connor and Kai are battling on a Southerly line. Travis and Scott Gamble are to the North, same line the prone paddlers took. Danny Ching is splitting the middle. Travis has a slight lead on Scott. Looks like Danny could have a slight lead on Kai/Connor, though it's hard to tell as they're spread out by over 1km North to South.

''Update from Terrene Black?s boat: ?Gap closed. Game on.? Sounds like the Aussie has pulled alongside Andrea Moller for the equal race lead! The light winds will take away much of Andrea?s natural advantage (she?s an awesome downwind paddler) which puts the Aussie Terrene right back in it. Exciting stuff in both the men?s and women?s races!''
''Update from Dave Kalama on Kai Lenny?s boat: ?It?s a race.? Dave sent us this pic of Kai Lenny with Connor Baxter?s escort boat in the background. The two young guns are neck and neck on the South line. Kai is the Southernmost paddler on the entire course.''

Another update from Trav?s boat: ?Danny pretty far back, probably behind Scott.? So now we can roughly piece together the current standings. It?s very tricky when the paddlers are spread out over a mile apart North to South, but right now it looks to be: =1st Kai Lenny, =1st Connor Baxter, =1st Travis Grant, 4th Kaeo Abbey, 5th Scott Gamble, 6th Danny Ching.
Trav and Terrene both up there challenging for first!!

Great coverage - thanks Chris.
Watch for Kaeo - he is so tough I'd pick him for top 3 if the others faulter
''Men's SUP race is tight. Kai Lenny (foreground) has closed the gap on Baxter in the distance. This is going to be down to the wire at this point.''
Shame we don't have live vid..

''Update from Karen Baxter on CONNOR BAXTER?S boat: There?s 4.3 nautical miles to go. Connor dropped back a couple of hundred yards when they did a water pack change, which made him really frustrated but also fired him up ? he?s just caught back up and right now he?s passing Kai, probably 2-3 board lengths ahead. The two are side by side. Literally. It?s an amazingly close race between these two, with the lead going back and forth every few minutes. They can?t see Travis to the North but Scott Gamble is probably a mile behind. Scott was making big ground a little while ago but seems to have dropped back again.''
DJ
''With Connor 4 miles out and Trav 3 miles out, that would put Trav a mile ahead of Connor and Kai, which is unlikely? There?s probably some discrepancy with those numbers. BUT either way it does look like Travis has a very good line to the North, and at the very least is equal in the lead with Kai and Connor. Again, hard to tell until they reach China Walls and the last one mile upwind battle to the finish line.''
DJ
''Could it be an Aussie clean sweep?! Brad Gaul and Jordan Mercer are in commanding positions in the prone race, while Travis Grant is keeping pace with Kai and Connor in the men?s and now Terrene Black has taken the lead in the women?s? The men?s and women?s SUP races look set for nail-biting finishes.''

Me too!
TRAVIS GRANT IN COMMANDING LEAD!! Just spoke to Travis? wife on his support boat: Trav is roughly half a mile in front of Connor with only 1.5 miles to go. He?s passing Koko Head and coming up on China Walls now. Amazing! Looks like the Northern Line has paid off, while Kai and Connor took the Southern line. The race isn?t over but it?s looking good for the Aussie!
Amazing that Travis has out-strategized and/or out-paddled the two Hawaiians, and with Dave Kalama on Kai's support boat too. That's a whole lot of local knowledge that he's had to beat.
