With so many Breezers opening up their new boards lately, I thought I'd share with you, the birth of my new baby:

This is Oxbow ... born 8 Dec 2008 at 5:20pm, 22 pounds 3 ounces, 9 foot 6 inches.

Still in the womb:

It was a breech birth (tail first):

All the way out:

A nice pulled in head:

What an attractive little fella:

A pretty face:

The name plate:

I'm still in the process of dressing it:

More photos when it's all dressed and maybe some video of its first steps.

Yeah - it all went very smoothly. A small episiotomy during the initial stages but smooth sailing after that. A very proud Dad.

Oh yes, that's Carbon ... yeah same Dad. You see, we just recently adopted Carbon's little cousin, Methane Kialoa. We think little Methane might play more nicely with little Oxbow. We will let Carbon play little Oxbow's big brother, Eleven Oxbow (he's nearly one now), they can go on long trips together.

I'm getting very envious of all you guys getting new babies to play with.

I've been wanting to spit the (Naish 10'6") dummy & get a 9ft performance SUP for a while now.

Can you lucky guys with the 9'2", 9'3",9'6" boards post some reviews?

I'd like to know how they go in the surf, how they paddle, & how much adverse conditions they can handle.

At the moment I'm trying to track down some mothers with PSH 9ft babies that have been smuggled into NZ.

If anyone in NZ is listening - there is a Naish 10'6" up for adoption.

How you going glass off I have the 9 6" naish and love it, I have had it out in all sorts of surf and think it goes great, this thing turns like a shortboard.
It gets waves as easy as my 11 6" kalama . It generates speed down the line with ease, you just need to pump it a bit and you are flying, putting it on a rail it carves great and doesnt seem to catch a rail anyway. I have had some steep sucky drops and takeofffs and very rarely nose dives. Anyway try one if you get a chance. I have just ordered an 8 6" swallow tail of Rod from boardbumps, the template looks sik.

I also love the look of the psh boards but at the moment the 9 6" naish And an Aussie made 8 6" will do me

Will do a reveiw once i have tested out the 8 6" in good surf.

Hiya Brooko,

yep i've had a coupla goes on the Naish 9'6"& hope to ride it some more - I like it but it's not the board for me.

Hey Casso are you gonna reply to my PM?

I'm all excited about getting a PSH baby those things just look the shiz - hang the expense, the handle, yadda, yadda (never even use the handle on my Naish anyway- I'm a head-case - I prefer to carry SUPs on my head or shoulder)

tis the season to be Jolly lalalalala la la!

Hey all you lot well done on this forum, I've been lurking for a looong time!

Keep up the reviews & the crazy documentation of events - remember ya only live once!

Hey Casso, you have expert midwifery skills, breech births an all.

Hows your baby doing? have you fed it any solid wave-food yet or are you resricted to soft sloppy wave-food at the moment? hows that mosaic baby-suit coming along?

Be sure to show us some cam footage of the little sucker in action soon.

I'm happy to announce that I think I'm expecting now, but it all depends on AA - he's the dad & I hope he's doing a decent job of inseminating me with a PSH board.

Now that there's been such a burst of births - I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of these little tykes in action.
