I think scotty got some pics at the factory - will ask him in the morning. I had a few waves on the 8.6 tuflite like yours after the 8.2 and it felt like an 11fter after the little one I really liked the tuflite too - very very forgiving when on the wave hey, and noserides pretty well also. You should have seen us 3 - like 10 year old grommys - especially when the bus load of euro girlies all took their bikini tops off and ran into the surf in front of us
and you know how bad my eyesight is - I had to paddle in very close to be able to see anything [}:)] yeah yeah I know - bloody old seed

Thats right the colour is most definetly a resin bleed and not a spray and represents the pinnacle of my work as a glasser. I made my first board in 1973 and have been deeply involved in all aspects of surfboard production ever since. It's been work that I have loved and has been always close to my heart. Through Seabreeze most of you would have been aware of the conception and production of the Penetrator, my idea of how a distance paddleboard should be. Unfortunatly the Penetrator, being entirely hand-made was not exactly cost effective and the ensueing interest by a major mass production company did not eventuate but that happens and as I have said I most definetly enjoyed the experience of treading my own road and creating something incredible that went totally against the grain. I recently turned 50 and with it came one of of those so-called reality checks, life building surfcraft had certainly changed over the years and unfortunatly life in the industry no longer offered freedom to surf but instead the rash of cheap foreign imports kept wages down and presented a challenge just to survive. So I've returned to a trade in which I did an apprenticeship in many years ago, I'm back to to being a plumber and now my best work is burried underground and hidden inside walls. My point being that there are many talented craftsmen such as myself being driven away by a reluctance from the public to embrace the local product, so think about that when next you opt to purchase an offshore clone. By no means bitter I'm proud of what I have produced over the decades and I shall continue to do specialist glass-jobs for Tully at Laguna Bay who has always been a great boss, its just that from here on in I'll be relying on my pipelaying to fulfill my lifelong dream of a Mentawais boat trip. Cheers to all my supporters on The Breeze and I'll be popping in from time to time, if for nothing else but to keep the omnipresent DJ under control!!!!!!
