Seems there are now several other kiwis frequenting this site so I feel like I may get some support and some good two way banter!
I reckon it will be 3-1 to the AB's. Yes Australia played well at the weekend but in my opinion lacked the finishing touches required. It will come in time but not in the next few weeks. You have some great troops but the loss of Quade Cooper will be too much. The AB's will be too strong. For the record I think Pocock is the real deal and the find of the year. George who??
Good luck - hope its a close game with a strong finish from the AB's.
Good luck to both teams keeping any grass beneath their feet especially in a scrum - the grass will probably roll backwards like a big piece of carpet. The spriggs will be ripping the surface to pieces.
After watching friday nights game you can only conclude that the surface at Etihad stadium is a joke! Great concept - poor execution.
Go the Wobbellies
BP, I will be in CHCH next week for the Bledisloe and staying down near Sumner with AAhhhmmm (he says with a cough) Wifes family...
Yeah, Yeah I married a kiwi girl.
Its such shame you feel that way about the Bledisloe, especially since you Kiwis have won, what only one world cup. Shame the Aussies have won 2.
Sorry I wont be joining you in that nine degree water, I may stick my head in say G'day.
Well, I've been expecting this to pop up for awhile now. Surprised it's taken so long with so many Kiwi posters of late. Ok, AB's will start deserved favourites for sure and the loss of Super Cooper (if he doesn't get off on appeal) is a real blow to the Wallabies. But... we know how you kiwis hate, hate, hate to lose to the wallabies. It puts so much pressure on the AB's and they just get a little bit nervous and the cracks start to appear and.........alright, i'm dreaming now but I reckon were in with a better chance this year than we have been for awhile. Lets hope both sides run it and not kick. Even if we lose, it will mean the AB's have peaked between World cups......again.
Either way it should be a cracker of a game.
It was a shame and a sham that Cooper was only suspended under the IRB rules and identified by a kiwi when in fact the tri nations is played under SANZAR rules. SANZAR did not think it was noteworthy of suspending him until the IRB president (a kiwi) identified it and asked for it to be reviewed.
I think without him the aussies will suffer.
BP a slab on Sumner foreshore, dont suppose you need an esky ( sorry chilli bin) this time of year...
Yep, there is a awsome spot where you can watch the sup /surfers from above
That is since your soft and will not brave the warm water, the ice cream headachs go away after a day or 2
ABS 4-0 ..... remember the world cup final is in Auckland and the wallabies haven't won there for 23yrs!
Boylos
The wallabies better win or the Kiwis that I'm going to the game with won't shut up....NZ are playing well part of thier usual move which is peak the year before the world cup and then loose to France at the big one..........
I'm with you Ted they are looking really strong.
I'm not supprized some don't about the cup, when I see some think Steinlager is an Hawaian Beer ?
TB
Seems even our lot are helping the Aussies out.......wonder what the Boks coach will say about this!!!!!
From NZ Herald website
Should the Wallabies loosen the All Blacks grip on the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday night, Robbie Deans may owe a debt of gratitude to a New Zealand photographer's eagle eye and long lens.
Scott Barbour's frame of All Blacks coach Graham Henry yesterday holding a page outlining tactics from scrum and lineout formations added an element of controversy to an otherwise mundane build-up to the Tri-Nations clash at Etihad Stadium after the image was reproduced - and analysed in minute detail - by Australian media outlets.
Our boys don't give a rats about your tactics...they won't save you when you on the bottom of a ruck getting run over by 15 angry Wallabies!!
yeah take that you bad Kiwi Sport
New Zealand-born photographer Scott Barbour is now out of the picture - the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) has banned him from covering the All Blacks' Bledisloe Cup build-up after he deliberately exposed the team's game plan.
The NZRU's official photo agency Getty Images, which employs Barbour as a freelancer, also angered All Blacks management after his image of Graham Henry holding the team's tactical moves was reproduced in Australia media outlets yesterday.
Getty Images is not allowed to send a replacement photographer to the team's remaining practice sessions in Melbourne ahead of Saturday's Tri-Nations match.
The NZRU has no power to deny Getty's access to Etihad Stadium as the match is under the jurisdiction of the Australian Rugby Union, though its representatives may be barred from covering next Saturday's trans-Tasman match in Christchurch.
All Blacks team manager Darren Shand today confirmed Barbour was not welcome at team media opportunities and negotiations with Getty Images were continuing.
