Getting a custom board made as soon as I off load one I have. I have discussed the shape I want with the person who will make it but not the graphics / paint as yet. Was interested in what others have done. Any photos would be great.

After something not plain but also resellable as I tend to want to upgrade a bit (7th board in 2 years).

Appreciate your input.

Sounds out there Dogman. I see you are on one of Tullys boards. At 8'6 does it still float you well whilst paddling. Not sure of your weight but with all the pie eating remarks I thought we may be similar. I am 93kg and am going to get Tully to make one for me and was thinking about the 9' mark. 6" shorter then what I ride now. What are the dimensions of Mr Hanky and did you go for the pulled in nose style that he is doing or his other more rounded style or is yours more unique?

yo swanie

im around 95kg

at the moment after a heavy weekend of jamming with 2 of my old heavymetal bands and then coming down with the dreaded MAN FLU i'm probably down a few kg's....lol....not for long tho....

on my 9'0 laguna i struggled for the first week but with the constant 20kt+ winds and heavy rips i struggle on anything

then i got the 8'6 and i struggle hardcore in the slightest of chop and have a hard time punching over whitewash and paddling away strongly but it surfs insane if not a bit on the too loose side for me in waves over 2 to 3ft

they are both pulled in noses but still have a wide tail area that i think is helping me when the waves are slow and guttless

MR.HANKY is 8'6 x 28 1/2" well thats what tully said anyway...lol.......talk to him as he'll know what the hell he did to it

if you check out the noosa surf works website they have some classic designs

heres a piccie of my 2 latest and a couple of screen grabs of MR.HANKY
