The ultimate bottom turn: the FOBT - F*** Off Bottom Turn

Derek Hynd article in The Surfer's Journal:

(as in: I dont give a F*** if I push enough on my legs to bust the board)

Good bottom turn thread guys!

Here's a picture of my "bum end"!
Without wanting to sound like a 'twat', this was either the 2nd or the 3rd bottom turn on this wave.

(I haven't paid Steve for the proper images yet! )

I bought that image from Dick Hoole "on canvas", for my brother. He's a big MP fan!

Here's Occy at Pipe doing it in reverse! MR was mirror image at Backdoor / next door.
This was the "new" Occy, circa 2005... Not 80's Occy!

It's arrived.
TeaTrea, your work is in place, above the fireplace.
To all you other losers, support this bloke, I have a brilliant original painting on my wall.
A little bit of Queensland is brightening up Phillip Island.
and even the daughters like it

That's your best one yet. Keep them coming...

Here is that oil painting that I told you about this morning. The bottom turn is certainly not in the same league as the others but as they say in the classics: "it is what it is"

Yes, mate. It's from an old surf photo and a mate of mine painted it. Have a guess where it is. The background scenery was added in the painting.

Here is a link to his site, which might give you some more inspiration for your next piece. www.mcarnegie.com/
