With morning family duties and afternoon football commitments, I was unable to participate in today's racing on 'The Wonny'.
However, I did manage to drop down for say gidday, grab some images and see how it was unfolding after the hard work Jappy and the crew had put into the event.
Great to see some old and new faces and disappointed to not see a few I thought may have been there as well but, it seemed to be humming along before I left.
Well done to Jappy, Lou and other Cronulla Sutherland SUP Club members for all the effort they put into this and also to Eastcoast SUP, Naish and all the others that had set up's for the day - it's a credit to you all.
There's no reason why todays 50 competitor limit can't be 100 next year.
Here's some images put on video that hopefully sum up the beauty and stoke of the morning.
Thanks DJ.
They did a fabulous job down there, it's easy to forget the logistics of these things.
Perfect location too - so close to Sydney but far enough to forget it exists.
Oh...G'day to you too Mac.
Great pics mate to end a great day, and I am sure Nikki will be flattered with the slight linger on her..............
Nice pics Chris. Thanks for the effort. Want to see you racing next year. 14, 12 6 and family races. I will reserve your spot. cheers
