Ok, you're not reading this incorrectly.
Due to an overlap of dates with the Portsea Swim the annual Cerberus Swim / Paddle Race is on this Saturday, 25th Feb.
For those of you who are not hitting Torquay to contest the Vic State Titles why not come to Half Moon Bay for some fun, fiery social racing.
The racing will consist of a series of sprint races [1.2kms] with elimination rounds later.
Please note that this race is NOT part of the Vic Flatwater Series!
The 5th and final race of the "King of the Cerb" series will be held Sunday 11th March, more details later.
There will also be sups to demo during Sunday for novices.
Registration is from 8.30am, with racing starting at 10am.
The weather is forecast to be absolutely perfect!
Light northerly winds and 31 degrees!
See you there
Hi all
This is my first post on the 'breeze......been reading for a while.
Looking forward to getting into a bit of racing and this race/s sounds like it should be fun.
Is any more info available in relation to entry requirements, entry fee, etc.??
Hope to get down there on the weekend and be a part of it.
New 12'6" needs to be put through its paces.
Thanks for the link.
I have registered.
Parking is a nightmare down there any nice summers day and this weekend is going to be a cracker!!....they have upped the forecast to 35 degrees.
The tent is going to be popular!!
Might have to get there early myself.
See ya there.
The paddle ski/sup race is scheduled for 11.30 am, not the 10am as stated on the HMB SLSC website.
Come hydrated, it's forecast to be 34 degrees!
That was a fun day.
Thanks to all who organised it.
It was a hard slog into the wind but coming back d/w was great fun.
Did the conditions put some people off entering.....or was everyone down at the state titles??
