Dean, some light reading on shark vision

what are the specs.
Dean is this your first sup quad? any major differences,re; side stability in choppy conditions/ general performance characteristics? trimming,turning,paddling etc.
The "clown board" was made for more of a pocket surfing style, in more powerfull waves than prk, fast bottom turns & going vertical into a reo or whatever, but still retaining positive drive & track with the confidence to snap into turns without the single fin pop out.
Interesting to note that the total 4 fin area is 20% or so more than the large 12" single fins I had been using, so it paddles quite fast & straight.
The main difference I found is the ability of the small multi fins not to over power or pop out in fast snap turns, they slip a bit, "depowering" allowing the board to be kept under you & not being thrust forward as a large single fin can do.
Nose riding I thought may be a bit side slippy with the comparatively short quad fins, but to my surprise they tracked very high & fast with confidence.
The quad positions came off the McKee site, he seems to know his stuff!
Clown board was surfed for 5 hours today in Bells, Rincon & Center's in knee high to the odd shoulder high clean off shore.

when designing a board to have a quad setup, is it only fin postion that changes or does the design of the tail etc change to work with the fins. IE would the board be the same if built as a thurster?

Yea, Nice looking board Dean. So whats the go with four fins? Don't tell me we're going have to rethink the single fin concept. So is it built especially for Bells?
