a creatures grip for stand up paddle came at right time, but i have read several issues related to coming unstuck...
could you give me any recommendations to stick it properly and where i should stick (measurement) in a paddle 11,6

I've never heard or had a problem with the creatures grip, should be all good.
From observing an expert gripster (thanks Angie) Get you board nice and clean, wax and grease remover is the ticket here, then some windex or the like to get it perfect. Start at the tail, lay your grip out on the board where you would like it and mark the corners of where each piece of grip will go on the board with a whiteboard marker. then just stick each bit on where you marked and away you go. Give the grip a good solid massage to make sure it is all stuck down, and a bead of sikaflex down the raised edge part of the grip will ensure no water gets under there and sees the grip come off...just a bit of added protection.
Give it a few good hours to stick fast and you should be ready to go. Sorry I don't have any DJ style pics, but who knows he may well have a gripping lesson somewhere he can add.

I had the same thoughts as you when I was about to stick my creatures grip down.What I did was marked out where I wanted it to go in pencil, then put down a coat of contact adhesive in those spots,bit fiddlie but worth the the effort.I have been surfing this board for months with no sign of lifting,"sh%t to a blanket mate"!!!!!

I am not going to use the back pad at the moment, just the centre as iam going to use the sup for crossing and starting to practice.
So big pack of creatures goes in the middle.
More less i notice i have the feet balance just before the middle of the lenght table.
But do not know where to put the centre pad, see photos, as i see this pad to have variable height and mainly at the edges.
Maybe someone who has a sup with these creatures pad could post photos of it

First I'd spray and wipe with windex window cleaner.
You can either cut the hand hole out later or before.. I've done both and doing it before is a little better IMO but pretty tricky.. See first pic.
You normally stand about center of the hand hole so the side ramps on the pad should be evenly spaced either side (forward and back) to the hand hole position.
If it was me I'd leave a 1/2" gap between the two pieces but if you want to but them up against each other that's OK.. See the gaps in my tail pad.
Hope this helps some.. I would also recommend you do what Todd does in this vid by slicing lightly with a razor blade about a 1" strip along the inner edge of the backing paper and stick it first and then reach under and peal the rest off.. This vid shows it very well.

DJ's got most of it covered but also you don't want any of the raised edge over hanging the round part of the rail which is why i like to have no gaps in the grip. and even if it looks like it has stuck perfect still put a run of sika flex along the raised bit. Also another tip is to cut off the raised edge first and then put the grip on and stick the raised edge piece back in at the end that way if you do get water under your grip it only wrecks the raised edge piece and not the hole grip.

don't forget to sikaflex the raised edges, they will lift if you don't.naish would have the handle in the right spot so the grey circle looks good. you can use the grey circle as a quick reference point when moving about on the board

Cut it back from the handle so that finger nails can't get under it and lift it up. be careful not to cut in to the board. A Stanly knife will do the job.
