Some of us are not blessed with local surf or time to travel. Still a few weeks before my new 14' Glide arrives so I grabbed a school board and took a tour of the city today.

NO the water quality hasn't improved

Nice shots bro.

I wish I SUP'ped when I live just south of Brissy in the mid 90's.

That trip to the Goldy most days sucked and cost me a fortune in fuel and car maintenance - I'd be in the river for sure - anything to keep stoked.

Thanks for sharing.

Did you launch from underneath the story bridge(southside) where the sand is?
Did the ferries or city cats buzz you?

Yep just under the Bridge. Maybe check the tide times and go at high or low, just remember low is about 30mins after Brisbane Bar.

The plan is to find all the Brisbane based SUP riders lurking in the background and get together for some group paddles in varied spots.

Planning to do a paddle on the outgoing tide one day soon starting West End way and finishing at the Bridge.

I was hoping to ride some bow waves but those eco friendly City Cats are designed for low wash. Just stay to the edges and you wont clash with them
