Just wondering if anyone knows the distance from Wendt's Bridge to the Alley?

I have done it few times and am considering the Mullum to Brunswick paddle and need a reference point in regard to distance.

Thrower Drive bridge to Wendts and back is just short of 8km.
Distance from Thrower Drive bridge to sand inside Currumbin Creek (i.e. on the north edge of the swimming enclosure) varies between 900-1000m depending on tide and sand banks.
Haven't measured it on the GPS from the beachfront at the Alley, but guessing it would come out just over 10km return trip.

Thanks - looks like a couple more flat water sessions over the next 2 weeks.

With the promise of a beer at the Brunswick Hotel motivation shouldn't be a problem.

That is a cool tool that distance calculator. i thought i was paddling 5 km on my morning loop but have now found I am paddling 7km ! No wonder Im getting tired...if you dont have a GPS you are just guessing, badly.

Hmm now I can plan another loop just a bit longer.....
