What a day,
Session, STANDUP, SurfeeChick and I went to Diamien's to day and what a session we had.
There were some good OH sets and we had he time of our life. STANDUP tried out the 9'6 and 10'6 and had a ball.
Session was shredding on the 9'6 Ripper as usual man he has progressed.
Here is a pic Rich took at the end of the session!
Kristi and Rich only took a few pics and about 3 mins of video as all we surfed for about 5hrs and got some ripping waves.
I almost ran out of gas on the last few, most of the time the wind was fierce as SANDUP will tell you lol.
Kristi took on waves that she would never have even dared look at a month ago, god i was proud of her.
I am heading for the spa with a whole heap of radox and will post more pics later.
I dont want to show to many pics people might work out just where Damiens is lol

Hey BP,
The 9'6 earned it dollars today, the bigger it got the more like a ferrari it went wooooooo hooooooo, Man I love that board.
Tomorrow the swell is building.
Looks like Kristi and i will have it too our selves as Session is in the dog house and STANDUP is back in Apollo Bay.
Phill
Stop ducking to make that wave look bigger. Nice riding and great photos
I just put a clean shirt on now its got drawl over it.
Tomorrow the swell is building.

(no you won't........we will be there!!)
Hey LSD,
Thats great, we love surfing you with you guys.
You were tearing it up as usual, oh and if I am right you got a very nice barrel before you left!
Yes we did see it!
Phill
Might do a road trip down that way soon, although I would probably ride the 9.6" as it goes better in mellow waves, need a bit of power to get the 8 6" going.
Looks a very fun, mellow wave glad you guys are having fun!
BP,
How big do you think that face is?
That shot was taken from 1km away, you sure you still want some????
It scared the living **** out of me! lol
Phill
On another note we went back to Damo's today and had a ball.
Yesterday was great, today in Sessions terms was rediculous.
Camo Hosk was rippin and man that guy had a serious back hand work out lol.
Poor old goofies dont get much chop on that spot.
Kristi totally freaked out the other girlies in the line up with some of the waves she smashed all the way to the beach.
There was one wave that will be etched into her mind for ever! I watched as she paddle up the face of a monster I would say 3 board lengths long to the lip and just made it over the lip as it pitched out.
I thanked the guy upstairs she made it!
LSD and his son Adam put on a show and wow they know how to dance! Those guys were totally freaking people out with short board moves.
What a perfect day!
Phill
Hey DJ,
I think Camo has some in water pics and if we ask nicely he might put some up.
I called him this morning and I dont think he thought I was serious about the size.
After 4 hours out Kristi and I ran out of gas again, have to take out V and Mars Bars next time.
We certainly got our share of OH + lol and then some.
The sneak sets were just scarey lol.
We all have some war wounds to be proud of.
I am using the Single Malt cure myself.
Phill
Reckon you might want a kite surfer out there mate by the looks of that roost off the back, dont think there's gunna be to many subs out there in that wind.
Robdog and I had 2 sessions today in solid , windy waves down this way.
Still thinking the wind factor takes a lot of the fun out the whole show.
But yeah keen to hit that puppy up when its light winds and clean no probs
Hey Brooko,
We have surfed in that wind all weekend lol sissy p landers lol. Kristi's noodle arms dont work anymore from triple paddling to get down the face.
Rich and I have a plan for that puppy and there wont be any kites involved.
If your up here say hi, you know where to find us.
Beer is cold and BBQ ready.
Phill
Thanks Phill and Kristi for letting me in on one of your many secret spots down the coast, although by the look of the vid there was a few crew on it today.
Took away a war wound of my own when I was scratching over a sneaker set wave became airborne on the other side and slammed my chin on the deck.Phill did his best repair job on the resulting cut and after a run into town for some elastoplast I wasn't done yet returning back to the water for another couple of hours, although my makeshift strapping only lasted all of five minutes but the cold water may have stopped any further bleeding as there were more fun waves to be had.
Here's a short vid of the conditions, windy you bet,a couple of waves ridden by Dean and Adam as they were sitting a bit further out, sorry Phill and Kristi but I reckon there will be a next time soon, also no audio swap yet as crappy youtube is playing up and waited 24hrs for it last time,
Cheers,
Camo.
The wind sure sucks, 27 - 30 knot winds both surfs today and more when gusting, but a nice pushy, solid swell so you still have to get amonst it
Weds day was stronger winds and bigger swell got knocked flat on a few occasions but after that flat swell keen to get amongst antyhing
Camo,
Lots more places on the list, but we were wrapped to catch up with you. Man you were rippin on your back hand.
Next time I will bring the stappler and the soldering iron so we can stop bleeding on the spot.
We have seen several Mr Compies in the area so I wasn keen to hang around.
Thanks for posting the vid, looking forward to our next adventure.
Your always welcome Camo
Hey Brooko,
Glad to hear you and Robdog are getting a few waves and having some fun.
The wind here has been 25 - 40+ knots thats why everyone is surfing so high up in the face.
Like Camo twice I paddle up the face with the wind behind me and got launched in to free space narrowly missing the face plant on the nose.
You almost get blown of the top in the top turn, thats when my wide a$$ has an advantage with the extra kegs on board
I bet there has been plenty of size down your way, judging by what we are seeing.
Dont forget the 7 and 8th of November, you guys have to do a road trip up here for that weekend.
Hope everyone is safe and well
Send our best wishes to all
Phill
Hey All,
Surfing on Saturday & Sunday was SO good, Ive never been out in waves that big before. LOL I remember the biggest set of the day came in, and Dad said for the first half of the day I was just paddling like i didn't have a care in the world, then a soon as i saw this wave i started paddling like i was on steroids or something! This wave was massive and as soon as i looked at it, it had "I'm going to Smash You!!" written all over it, and i only JUST made it over the top! I remember being air-born for about a second then turning around and i could see everyone just being pounded by this thing.
I have never seen the surf so big!
Well lets hope for this weeekend too!
Kristi
Surfeechick , You legend, I took one look the surf at Wye river at the weekend and decided it was too big for me. Slunk off to Point Roadknight, where the chop was bigger than the swell. From now on I shall be known as Nancy logman.
