No Way robdog!!!!
Was that a case of huge around the corner or just exceptional banks and spot on swell direction? Passed it often and worked directly in front of it for six months in the old ASA offices, taken countless surf classes out there and have never seen it looking remotely like that.
Cheers
Sparx
Great video Robdog.
Cosy can get like that with a really high tide and a small swell that does not break on the outer Pt Danger reefs. On the video you can see high tide and not breaking out the back. Can be a very nice wave if tide, swell and banks are right.
Peels.........................
That's a video of Jan Juc local Nic Muscroft, not sure who took it, maybe his Dad.
A straight small swell with a lot of se in it. A bit of a rarity in Victoria. Hope it's like that on Sat 20th!!!
Robdog, it helps when your kid is good enough to go runner-up at Bells !!
I was slightly bummed when I saw him paddle out off the Rincon reef, only too see Parko get a free ride on the ski.... That final wasn't a level playing field from the onset !
(edit, I stand corrected ! Thought it was Adam...)
Hey Rich,
Cosey will be an awesome spot for the Demo easier parking, great BBQs and fantastic for beginers. Shreaders have plenty of options within an easy paddle.
Stoked to see it all come together.

Hi everyone ,
If your planning to demo a few boards please bring your legrope along with you on the day.
Thanks
Rich
I'm looking forward to tomorrow.. The weather is looking good.. and there is heaps of swell..
Bring a few gold coins for the barbie.. We are thinking a gold coin donation is fair..

Massive thanks to Rich (Session) for getting today up and running !
Huge thanks to several others (you know who you are), for making it all run well ! (bringing boards, paddles, the instructors, vests, tents, bbq, stickers, etc.... - forgot how much some of the teenagers love stickers!)
Only small surf at Cosy's, but I'm looking forward to OG SUP's pics !
As a result of today, I personally saw at least 4 people who were dead keen to continue on with SUP. But I would suggest the real number of new keen starters is closer 20.
I even saw my neighbor out there, his first time on a SUP, and he's keen for more... So I'll get him out on my down wind equipment too, and try and convert him to the dark side!!
Well all I can say is WOW,
At one point there was 34 in the water + 8 doing a lesson, no boards on the beach with a queue waiting on the sand.
Massive thank you to DJ, Cam, Rosco and Talon from SUPVIC, great BBQ but next time you need more food lol as we ran out. Fantastic job guys.
Even as the tents were being packed away there were still people wanting to go out,
Rich all I can say is you must be stoked, what a huge success.
I even found an apprentice Photog
This was the image he took after I cropped it
Image of the shore break shot with a 12mm,
I think I am out of a job?
