Nice looking board, especially the nose and bottom curves.

I would be very interested to hear how Mick and Kelly went on them on their downwinder from Kingscliff to Currumbin in 20-25 knots. Shieldy's video was all about Travis and Jacko but I really wanted to see them on these boards. From what I could make out in the video and pictures it did not look like they were burying the nose very much so I could not see how effective it was.

Lacey - go ahead and test this baby out in solid DW conditions. You know you want to...

yes, as much as any 12'6 is going to be. as for myself i'll be mainly using mine for training, ins and outs and surfing. i took the board out today again in onshore conditions. it's very solid and stable in those conditions. i was the only standup out surfing

cheers

Offer will still be there next weekSeriously what do you think about the boards extra volume for heavier people , i think ive gone to skinny for my weight and i bog the boards down a bit. The 12'6 fanatic i have flies in certain conditions but other times i feel like im dragging my bum.The Fanatic 14 looks like a good board for the heavier dude too.

Mate your Fanatic suits people up to 90kg no worries IMO guys around 80 to 90kg are the perfect weight for that red Fanatic, i know now Big steveo paddles that board he is way faster than when he has paddled any other board and feels it suits him more in the waves as well and he has the balance of a one legged horse. I see alot of people upgrading these days for really no reason other than having something new which is great if you have got heaps of coin, but if not the best thing people could spend there money on would be different types of coaching and getting the best out of there body technique and there is alot of cool stuff out there.

By the way i paddle the best and fastest board ever made!!!! why because i own it!!!

Just think pre training weight and then think post training weight, it gives you a goal to get to and might save you a whole bunch of $$$$ and training is free.

Also if you shave down you might lose a kg or 2!!!?

hey teatrea, it was a bit of a shock to paddle the 12'6 at training after being on the bigger boards for quite a while. but i settled in and got going. i think paddling this lenght of board at training brings out the best in ya because you have to be smart and thinking about maintaining speed etc

cheers

Teatree, this is the advantage of buying a locally handmade product, not only are they cheaper because there's no importing fees, shop mark up etc but you can communicate with the designer and shaper to have the board made to suit whoever wants to paddle it, and the best thing is we have two of Australias best hand shaped board manufactures training with us

I was wondering when this was going to rear its ugly head in here.

Funny thing in these situations is buying locally and waiting for your product through the shops, in your case if you dont stock a particular board and a customer wants one. The customer then has a choice, wait to get one off you or go to the website and order directly.

Tbh I dont think the companies should be selling to the public off their sites. Provide info by all means but to undercut your retail outlets just isnt right I dont think. They should provide info on where their local dealer is. Unforunatly if they are overseas and the prices are cheaper people will still buy off the net.
Its a shame the way its going and the sporting industry is just one that is suffering at the moment.

Im involved in automotive parts and worked for Porsche for a while and they get killed by internet sales from overseas and by Porsche themselves. Hyundai is a bit easier as the parts are as cheap as chips and you dont hear about Hyundai enthusiests like you do with Porsche

Bad internet

Mr doggie, this company has not chosen to go retail so they have not undercut any retailers.
