Just back from our family holiday to Fiji , stayed at my mates place The Beachouse...Fiji's best budget beach resort on the Coral Coast. We flew into Nadi the day after cyclone Daphne. Here are some pics still working on the video , scored some great waves , not too many surfing pics as I was always in the water , got a few off another photog. The rest I shot on land.
Had couple of Epic sessions at Frigates first trip was 6 foot and smoking second session around 3 to 4. My mate now has 3 boats plus he has just received his container of Corebans so this is a very Sup friendly place with surf straight out front , worth checking out. Had couple of bounces off the reef (going too deep) and came out with a nice Fiji reef tattoo.
I rode my mates Coreban Lithium 8-11 and just loved it , perfect board for the sucky conditions.

Fiji is great , got to surf cloud break on my sup when i went , no one needs to know it was only 2ft
Thanks Piros!
Looks like you had a great trip...getting me excited for my trip starting this Saturday.
How was the wind most days? Interested to know as the forecasts were generally
pretty windy but would be keen to know how accurate the forecast actually are.
Geez that reef looks shallow unfortunately looks like your left shoulder down to arse cheek found that out too
sensational pics great stuff cheers Piros
Awesome photos Piros. I've got to get over there one day.
Great war wounds. That pic just needs a bit of cropping though, please.

thanks for the great water shots, just makes you want to jump on a plane.Rob,how did you treat your reef cuts?Rod.
Bugger add another item to the bucket list
That looks absolutely beautiful apart from the shots of your back and crack
Nice work
Treated the cuts the old fashioned way with Lime and a tooth brush , it burns like F**king Hell for a few minutes and then goes numb , it's the only way to do it to kill the bacteria from the coral.
Alhog: My daughter turned 11 over and her friend was the same age so no worries to bring your kids there were even a couple of 3 & 5 year olds , very safe and kid friendly place.
This is the Video I put together we were the with 3 other families.
piros is this near a place called Waidruka not sure of spelling, sorry?? just west of Pacific Harbour??? I drove a boat out of there to Frgates long time ago
Bula! How are the cuts coming along?
