. lots of us chase boat wakes up the creek with dale chapman probably the best at it.
however i wouldn't go chasing down ferries etc or you might just find yourself in real trouble

Echuca, but they're no where near as big as that baby.
Dan has arraigned for a paddle steamer surfing comp to be held in 2012..
I can imagine paddlers spaced up the river so after about 400 meters one surfer drops off as another drops on and the judges can sit on the back of the boat.

surprisingly enough i happened to be on board the Captain Proud, a side wheeler out of Murray Bridge only last week.
as you can see you can
surf with a buddy on both the left and right hander although getting the old girl to go faster than 4 knots might be a problem. nice conditions though with the eveving glass off
