Hi Peeps,

Just looking ahead at the new month and thought it might be fun to do a sausage sizzle and a full moon paddle on Thursday night the 10th of November down on the river.

Cost would be a few bucks to cover the food and some glow sticks for safety. This is a not for profit evening. Anyone keen?

BUMP!

This is on tomorrow night. Meeting at Freshwater Bay, Mosman Park. BBQ and soft drinks provided for a $2 gold coin donation.

We'll supply the glow sticks unless you want to bring along your own 4000 candle power industrial glow stick

This is a social paddle remember, so come along and have a yarn and meet some new friends.

Cheers,

DM

Hi guys,

7pm meeting for a BBQ at corner of Keane Street and The Esplanade, Mosman Park. Once darkness descends, we'll crack the glow sticks and go for a paddle. Probably a good idea to have a leg rope if you are new to SUP as balance may be a bit more challenging in the darkened water.

I'll make sure we have a heap of glow sticks for paddle, people and boards.

I look forward to meeting some new peeps and paddling with friends. Weather is looking perfect for the paddle.

Bummer Hilly Rest assured, we'll wave back

DM

I'm not going to be able to make training in the morning so will definitely be down there to get my paddle fix for the day.

Just a little reminder if it is a clear night like last night just remember that it gets even cooler on the water so make sure you come rugged up and with extra clothes in case you fall in or get pushed in!

Hi Peeps,

Our first Moonlit Paddle went ahead in perfect conditions tonight. Light winds which completely abated by the end. Cool but not cold, and plenty of vis.

First, a feed and re-fuel

Call us about the next one

Looks like a good turn out and a good night, spewing I missed it. It has now been 72 hours since my last paddle and I am starting to get a little irritable, hopefully some relief this afternoon with a Dw.

WOW, well what can I say - that was right up there amongst the best experiences I've had on a SUP, a relaxing yet exhilarating night with great company. All up we paddled just over 6km at a nice leisurely pace but picked it up in sections.

Highlights included:
- Everyone marvelling at the glowing water then realizing we're paddling over crew doing a night dive
- Sitting on our boards in the middle of Melville water, taking in the serenity of the water and moon light
- Surfing the wake of a big cruiser for about 300 metres until it broke on Point Walter
- paddling in the moon light!

Really recommend this to everyone, adds another dimension to paddling.... Bring on next months session!
